Where Taskmetrics runs

Stated honestly, including the things that are not finished. Every row says which it is — shipped, being built, or planned — because a list that mixes them is worth nothing on a second visit.

The list

  • Mobile app for iOS and Android

    In progress

Built and running, with the same account and the same running timer as the web app. Not in the app stores yet — store submission is in progress.

  • Install as a desktop or phone app

    Available

Taskmetrics installs straight from the browser and runs in its own window, offline-tolerant, with no store involved. Add to Home Screen on a phone, or the install icon in the address bar on a desktop.

  • Browser extension for Chrome

    In progress

Today's tasks in a popup, quick add in plain English, and right-click to turn a page, a link or a selection into a task. Written and working against the API; not yet in the Chrome Web Store.

  • Push notifications

    Available

Reminders reach your phone and your desktop browser when you turn them on, without a third-party service in between.

  • Gmail add-on

    Planned

A panel inside Gmail that turns an email into a task, the way the browser extension does for a web page. Needs Google's review before it can be listed, which is the long part.

  • Calendar sync with Outlook

    Available

Part of Pro. Two-way: your meetings sit on the Today and Upcoming hour grid beside your own work, and a task you place on that grid is written to the one calendar you nominate as “Write tasks here”. Move or delete that event in Outlook and the task follows. Calendars refresh every 15 minutes, or straight away with “Sync now”, and a meeting can be turned into a task with its title and time already filled in.

  • Calendar sync with Google Calendar

    In progress

The same two-way sync, also part of Pro, built and working against Google. Google’s review of the calendar permissions it needs has not cleared yet, so until it does only accounts on our test-user list can connect — Outlook has no such queue. Ask us and we will add you.

  • API access with personal tokens

    Planned

A token you create in settings, so you can script against your own account or wire Taskmetrics into something we have not thought of.

  • Email a task in

    Planned

A private address per account: forward anything and it becomes a task, from any mail app rather than one.

What we are not doing

There is no analytics, advertising or session-replay tooling in Taskmetrics, and no third-party service watching how you use it. That is a deliberate choice rather than a gap, and it is why there is no cookie banner to dismiss — the cookies page lists the two cookies the app sets and why there is nothing to switch off.

Say which and why: support@taskmetrics.co or 704-750-0661. The order these get built in is genuinely decided by what people ask for.
